Loaded up some 6.5 CM with 139gr Lapua Scenars for gong shooting

Very pleasant recoil and super accurate load. Shot a croc in November from 50m and recovered the bullet from the muddy riverbed.

Reloaded for my Winchester M70 in 416 Rem Mag for this up and coming hunting season. Will be carrying her a bit more this year. SBC .416 400gr @ 2300 fps

Decided to dust off the old girl and load her some fresh ammo. Hoping there’s a Warthog or Impala day dreaming so I can test the bullets out. Mannlicher Schönauer Model 1910 9.5x56. Loaded with SBC .375 250gr in-front of N140 in converted Norma 7x64 Bren cases.

Received this back from one of the PH’s field testing my new .243 85gr bullet “85gr SBC 6mm bullet, recovered from a blesbuck ram, shot at ±250m. Blesbuck was quartering away, bullet entered far back, behind rib cage and was recovered in opposite shoulder. Muzzle velocity: ±3200fps. Recovered...

I’m currently experimenting using VV N550 in the Express instead of the VV N540 I was using. According to the experts I should get 2250 fps out of my 25” barrel but with what I’m guessing a pleasant recoil.

Decided to redo my load development on the 6x45 (6mm - 223) as there are rumors that Alliant Rel X10 won’t be coming into SA anymore. Using Somchem S335 I’m getting 2600 fps with the SBC .243 85g bullets. Happy with the accuracy and loaded up 100.

Why chase velocity when it’s accurate and everything I take aim at will die ?

Did some load development for my 375 H&H using Safari Bullet Company 300gr and Hodgdon Varget. 3 shot group was at 100m @ 2455 fps
