They are same diameter, the new model is shorter, I think you could cut it down though. Also they no longer use a washer and retaining clip, now it's just one retaining clip.
I'm thinking of taking my Caprivi 375 H&H as my light rifle on my next Buffalo hunt. How did you like it, and is there anything you would change? Would you take it again for Buffalo? I plan on using my Chapuis Elon 470 Nitro as my main rifle for Buffalo on my next trip.
I had a .416 400grain A-Frame do the same thing on almost exact same shot placement, bullet exited and the bull was dead in less 30 seconds. No death bellow, the bull was shot through the heart and I believe the only bones the bullet hit were ribs!
