I don’t have the memory to recall all the guns I’ve had, I’d have to go to my ledgers to attempt to figure it out like the OP.
What I can say is it’s very hard to undo bad decisions and very easy to move out of good decisions.
This month I just got rid of the last tactical type weapon I got in my 20’s, a Ruger mini-14 stainless. Got rid of the handgun collection 15 years ago or more.
Most of it was unremarkable stuff, but I did have 100 side by sides and at least 20 were London Bests. I miss those a great deal.
I owned the Nawab of Rampur’s Charles Lancaster 20 bore, sidelock, auto-opener, selective single trigger, ejector. Probably the nicest I’ve owned. Much more interesting than the Purdey, Westleys, Lang’s, Hellis, Hollis, Osborne’s, Mortimers, Grants, Atkins, and the rest combined.
it’s a fine madness, but raising kids, taking them on hunts, and being debt free are more important than owning 200 guns for me ag present. (I own less than 20 guns I imagine?)
