He'd have to be the most prolific wildcat cartridge designer of his time. His designs cover just about everything from 22s to 6oo caliber, in semi-autos, revolvers, Thompson Center rifles/pistols and (my obvious favorites) Ruger No 1s.
He takes a bunch of hunters over to Africa every year...
I can't get one out of the US for love or money, bringing a rifle over is bad enough, just cannot imagine the hoops I'd have to jump through to get one of his "builds" out of the US to Australia
my wife and i are hand gun hunters and have been to africa 5 times.not much of a problem if you use the meet and greet people,but now with the new 4457 crap,has to be dated for the year your hunting in,were through.our nearest customs office is a 600 mile round trip,at 79 thats not for me.
