Nice, I don't mind a bit of low layer count Damascus. Useful size with good handle lay out. Full tang is always a plus. I like it.

The scales are mammoth ivory. I had to stop using it in the state of regulations, NY I can now buy it on line. It’s beautiful material to work with. Mammoth ivory are tusks found in Siberia and northern climes in the spring. Quite a bit of color variation depending on the mud it was imbedded in for 20,000 years.
