Since there are so many different knifes that are classified as bowies either by the make or the buyer, then yes the one I make may be called a bowie
These are some of the large knives that I can call bowies with blades from 7 to 9 inches.
And the only one I have left is this one with paper micarta and pearwood on 1075 with full flat grind
