Finally got the CZ550 American Safari Magnum in .416 Rigby!!!!!!!! Just picked it up from the FFL about 30 minutes ago. I will be replacing the stock with a Bell and Carlson stock in a little bit and will take pictures again after this and the scope gets mounted. BTW, I purchased some Alaskan QD scope rings for this too. Kind of neat packaging as they come in the old boxed tins and need either a key or can opener to get to the parts. Will be mounting the Nikon ProStaff 2-7x32mm on it, it's a shotgun scope and it worked very nicely on the Ruger #1H Tropical in .405 Winchester. Hopefully it wiil work just as well on this.

What will you go after with this big boy?

Very nice! I borrowed one of these from my PH when I hunted lion last summer. Worked great

Might be a bit, like next August or September. I am in an area that has a private range that I am attempting to become a member of in order to get some quality time that I need for true load development. Otherwise I would have to travel almost an hour and a half just to be able to shoot it. All other ranges will only allow me to shoot up to .35 caliber. This also means no retesting for the .405 Winchester as well.

Nice Rifle in a great Caliber,I hope that Nikon Prostaff is up to the task, great choice on those Alaska Arms Mounts
