Scammer Alert: Lefevre-Bert

One of the members who bought one of the Soul of the leopard books was contacted by a scammer on his personal cell phone number asking for additional payment to a Venmo account in the name of Lefevre-Bert.

I’m not sure how the scammer got this member’s personal number?

Fortunately, the member was suspicious about the request from a name he didnt recognize and didn’t get fooled.

If any of you have any concerns about the payment for the book, please PM me and I can send you my cell phone number and we can chat.

All the remaining payments to be received are checks being sent in the mail so nobody is expected to make anymore electronic payments.

I have received all the electronic payments that were previously sent and notified everybody who sent them so there should be no additional action needed from those payors.

The moderators also asked that I not sell additional books since that would violate the classified rules of only selling things that are in you possession. I certainly understand their reasoning and intend to respect the rules of the site I am privileged to be a part of.

Therefore, any additional request for payment for a book is a scam.
