Flying to Namibia in a couple of months with Ethiopian Airlines. I’ve flown with them several times before, as recently as 2023. I was able to find that form on their website. This evening it has either totally eluded me or it isn’t on the website.
Does anyone either have a link to it or is it no longer required ? Any recent travellers through Addis Ababa care to comment ?

I last traveled through ADD in September 2024. Nothing had changed. Same hassle. Go to dungeon to check rifles and run like crazy to next flight. I found the form on Travel Express’s website last fall. I’m on my phone and don't know see it. Not sure if it’s still there. Good luck on your hunt.

Velbekommen!

And see now you also asked for info if still required. It was in October last year, plus you need to call Ethiopian (have an office in Kbh), or have your travel agent do it, to put your weapons on the ticket. I had confirmation from Ethiopian that it was done, but as it had not been registered so they could see it at the check-in counter it took a lot of phone calls, but all worked out fine.

In Addis still the basement thing, bring plenty of copies of everything, I so wish they would write that on the form, what really takes time is to have copies made of all those who don't bring it.

Hopefully I haven’t made a horlicks of getting this form to here. It may be useful to others trodding this well worn path.
Thanks to @Luminous Ham for pointing me in the right direction.

This might be easier if you are as technologically challenged as I am

It's odd that this form has disappeared from the internet. I could not locate it either. I am very thankful for this thread.

It seems that nothing has changed with the procedure, and no specific country permission is needed from Ethiopia to transit to South Africa.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
