I have seen quite a few, but I think the most on one 10 day safari was about 6. I have had them in the blind, come in the blind thru the window, at the waterhole, in the tree while on stand, just outside in the road, and on the ground while stalking. My favorite months are July August and September. Go ahead and mount the 47. I have a bud that mounts his animals, and if ever he gets a bigger one, he has the horns fitted to the mount and the old horns fitted to the new skull mount.

We will be with them in Sept this year for 10 days. I dont know if I could wait 2 years, you should book another trip for this year and next, Just to get ready ya know.

I have used a ladder stand on more than one occasion and I can say it is a real enjoyable time. Yes I have been busted by monkeys, but no different than red squirrels back home. It may get a little exciting when you have a Mamba in the same tree, but still a thrill nonetheless.

We walked it twice, but that took us 4 days. If you walked the whole thig three times in one day, damn I can understand how you missed things. We averaged 7-9 miles a day according to my wifes watch. You must be in shape for that sheep hunt!
