This is a Pacific Tool and Gauge long action M77R ( Tang Safety) bottom metal kit. Tang safety rifles only. Get rid of the aluminum Ruger used and replace it with this. No longer produced it seems from my understanding. I bought this for a particular rifle but sold it before I could install it...
First up is M77R “hollow bolt” in 7x57. Beautiful rifle all around. Asking $1425 shipped in a hard case. Can take more pics if needed if the price is off base let me know.

Here I have a Ruger M77RS sights version in .300 Win Mag. It is topped with a Leupold VXIII 3.5x10. Neither rifle nor scope appear to have actually been used at all and are in excellent as new condition. Barrel length is 24" on this one. Asking $1350 shipped in a hard case for this one. If...
I'm perplexed by this and have honestly never heard that remark regarding recoil regarding the 270. The only reason over here some say they don't like it is because you get more bullet choices with the 7mm .284 calibers.
Next one I'm listing here is this new in box unfired Ruger No.3 in 45/70 Govt. Excellent NOS condition as you would expect and unused rifle to be. The box is starting to show its age. Can take more pics of anything needed. Will ship from me as an individual with a copy of my Id in the box...
Up for consideration is a very nice Ruger M77RS Carbine in .358 Winchester. These rifles seem to be scarce especially in this configuration. Barrel measures 19”. Wears a vintage Redfield 1x4x from when they were still made in Denver Colorado.
It’s said that Ruger initially intended for...
Here we have a very nice Ruger M77 MKII rifle in 7x64 Brennek. Rifle is in unfired new in the box condition. A rarer find in the U.S, at least, Asking $2000 shipped for this one. It will ship from me as an individual to your ffl with a copy of my license included for your dealer so make sure...
I stand corrected, you are right. I actually put a round in it and cycled and yes it pushes it and locks over it once the bolt is closed. I have never noticed that before being as this is an unfired safe queen. All my others are early tang safety's definitely push feed and the other MKII's I...
No worries at all and I definitely didn't think that. I didn't even realize there were some of these that were transitional, so I figured I better clarify for others that may be looking at it and also didn't know
To clear the air regarding this rifle, it is a true CRF and not the push feed or transition variety. It has the claw extractor and blade ejector and corresponding cut in the bolt for the ejector
As posted in my sold No.1 ad I have decided to sell off a portion of my Ruger collection so in the coming weeks I will be listing a few rifles here. The next one up is this very nice Ruger M77 MKII Express rifle in 30/06. A very beautiful rifle in a very useful all around cartridge . Rifle is in...

Thats the spirit. The "it doesn't do anything my 280ai or 7mm rem mag won't do" curmudgeons are hilarious. Yes, it does something your 7 Rem mag won't do. It throws the same weight or heavier bullets out of 16 or 18" barrel faster than your 280ai or rem mag does with a 24" barrel.
I was against it at first until I actually got away from the hive mindset and looked into it more. I have recently started acquiring suppressors and definitely appreciate a shorter combo that doesn't carry like a damn musket.
I also don't care that it's not reloadable or at least not yet. I...
@KCSafari has dibs on them already unless he changes his mind
Both Dagga boy books, 1 cleaning mat, 1 leather folder and one Rigby a grand tradition book have been spoken for
I ordered a large order of items a while back from Rigby for me and a couple friends. Since I was already paying shipping and import duties, I ordered quite a bit and have a few things left over that are in excess of my needs and wants. All of these items are new unused. I have listed individual...
Correct. Just for clarity I was backing up your point to him that you weren't saying it was the only Ruger ever made in that caliber but rather the only Ruger American version in that caliber. Wasn't being snarky if it came off that way. Nice rifle and if I hadn't already gone on a buying Ruger...
"The only Ruger American" produced in that caliber. I also have a .358 Win in M77RS. It's the 18.5" barrel carbine with sights. 200 or less I'm told were produced like that because Ruger intended for them to be RSI models, but the barrel profile was too thick causing them to have restock them...
my guess is as with all decisions companies make that are for profit is that it's such a small segment of buyers that will buy something like that it's not worth their time.
New Im the box Winchester Model 70 in .375 H&H Magnum. Selling this to fund a Rigby.
Asking $2150 shipped and insured from me as individual to your ffl. I can accept certified check, postal money orders or personal check with time to clear or Zelle. Can take any other pics needed just let me know
Does anyone here know if the Ruger American line is using the same footprint as a Remington 700 for the scope bases?
I'm considering getting a Ruger American Ranch in 5.56 as a plinker and was curious if I wanted to replace the factory picatinny rail with something better like one from Ken...
Putting this back up. A coworker/acquaintance of mine wanted it so I held it for him for a while to get the funds together but life as we know it seemed to keep getting in the way for him. I finally told him I was going to keep it rather than hold them in that position, but I just don't have an...
Who here has ever done so, and would you care to explain the process for those of us that are curious? Did it require a trip to London? What did you order and how long did it take?
Elanor O'Conner Jacks wife I believe shot an elephant with a 30/06 and called it her big cannon or something along those lines as she mostly used 7x57.
I sort of fell in love initially then out of love with the 270 when I first got started. Don't much care for it now. I know it's a great classic cartridge and wont hate on it, but I just don't want to fill a slot in my lineup with it anymore.
