Same, we used Trails End out of St. Cloud. Haven't recived out mounts back yet so no grade. Hunt was July 2022.

I'm looking at going in 2026, one option along with those above is Ethiopian Air, flying into Adduas Abbai, then onto Windhoek. But I'm vomming from the Midwest, so Chicago start.... ug!

I'm trying to pull together a hunt in RSA in one month, short on planing time! I hunted there in 2022, needed covid vac to enter.... has anything changed, or do i need anything new? Any suggestions / tips on speed preparation for RSA hunt?

MN rifle season ended yesterday. Had to pass on this huge deer... no rifle with me. The small 8 pt was harvested after a long night shift, perfect for our freezer. Browning BAR. 30-06 using 150g corelok bullets (junk by cheap) MN, Lake Co, morning hunt from ground stool.

Opening Day on SD. Was almost run over by 2 Royal Elk bulls before this buck tried sneaking by at 18yds. Good morning walk. Hunting with 30-06 w BOSS.

Overall, the cost of my first hunt will be less then the cost to get 9 trophys on the wall. Mix of ero's n mounts. Next trip (??), I'll not be brining anything home but photos. videos n memories. Easier to pass onto the next gen... but into of sad as well. Next trip will be DSC, hope we see...

I'm having the same problem. A very nice black wildebeest taken and now at the taxidermist. Looking for photos to give ideas on how to mount it...shoulder is what I'm thinking....low odds wall pedestal (a sable n red heartbeest getting tanned as well)

We are using SBS LOGISTICS for shipping, I assume they are flying with Delta, don't know. I'm told rates have gone up again, 2400 final cost. Happy the crate is on its way, not happy about the cost/lack of control you have. Gotta trust the people you meet in RSA are making good decisions.

Congrat on getting the walls painted...and the mounts so close! I'm about a month behind you, crates are sealed n waiting shipment to Chicago. Laura with Coppersmith is handling our two boxs of memories as well...shipping from CH to northern MN (Duluth). Hope our cost is close to yours.
