If the aim is decent, the 35 Rem will easily take down deer, black bears, and hogs.

I believe Kynoch used simple backer rods, cut to length. Weight is very small, I use biodegradable white shipping "rods". They basically disintergrate when shot. I will either half or quarter so they fit with a slight crush. They keep powder in place.

That is a beauthiful rifle in a wonderful caliber. It is perhaps the best southern deer rifle.

That looks like a great rig, particularly for someone that handloads. The 500 S&W can be loaded down to a "cowboy" load or up for major game loads. It makes a fine hunting pistol.

Bertram manufactured 9.3x82r brass (along with many other calibers) and that is what has been sold recently. Every once in a while, I will find someone who has this brass, likely from a previous project.

That is a nice rifle in a great caliber for a good price. It might help if you post some targets as there rifles are supposed to be sub MOA rifles.

The only 9.x dies that I saw that Midway has are for 9.3x62. If you could post the link to the 9.3x72 dies, that would be great.

Keep looking for dies. CH4D may have them in stock. Their dies are excellent. The 9.3x72R is somewhat uncommon in the US though many pre-war drillings and kipplaufs are chambered in this caliber. I have a kipplauf and a drilling in 9.3x72 and a friend hunts deer with his 9.3x72R double...

This is a good buy. Real wood and blue steel Marlings are great rifles.

That is a way to get 256N brass, from either 30/06 270WCF or better 25/06. People also h=just shoirten parent brass and run thru 256N reloading dies. Won t be correctly headstamped but will shoot fine.
