Newest to the collection. Only about 974 or so Gibbs singles, very few were fitted with Selous plates, mostly 461 , just a few are known in 303, sighted to 800 yards. Here’s one to enjoy.
Here’s a Rigby 303 single shot that was made for Lady Constance Mackenzie, the rifle was finished 1900, would be great to know where all she took it. She hunted on the King ranch in Texas and in India and Africa. It’s been back to Africa by a previous owner.

I had a cased Alexander Henry single shot cased with all the tools for the 450 Boxer case, slightly under size compared standard 450 BPE, never shot it but easiest remedy is just run a reamer in it and won’t hurt a thing .
I believe Hamilton Bowen only made 2 3/4” rifles so that the recoil wouldn’t be so nasty. SSK have made a decent amount of full 3” Nitro Ruger #1’s and some 600JDJ’s, 577 opened up for .620 bullets. I have heard of receivers cracking but can’t confirm if it’s happened. If everything goes right...
