Decide animals you want to hunt and ask 3 outfitters for package price. Leave room for that special trophy that comes along while hunting . Minimum property size 15,000 acres for better hunting. Spear safaris, Bos en Dal, Tesla are all on here and people give them all high praise.

My son and I both have 2 barrel r8’s with thumb hole stocks . They feel and shoot great.

Barnes tsx 165 for elk for me

One stick is better than nothing. 2sticks are better than one . 3 sticks are better than 2. Quad sticks are MUCH better than all of them. IMHO . quads add stability and accurate range

East cape with John x safaris. My son is hunting buff roan springbuck and lechwe and I will be after black wildebeest, bushbuck, lechwe and if I get those buff.

The draw back to Africa for me is not one animal but the variety of game that you see while hunting . I’ve been 3 times and will go again in September. I enjoy hunting different areas and seeing new species.
