Starting at 12k...minus $2k for the 16 hour plane ride...10k will get you one helluva fun plains game hunt in South Africa or Namibia. There are lots of good package deals out there, including trophy fees, with room left over for some add ons starting with that kind of dough.

I'm sure you will have a great time. Might as well start planning that 2nd trip right now ;)

It's nice to be able to download pictures in the event you run short on card space. I just bring enough cards (or large enough SD cards) so I don't worry about storage space....however I like the thought of knowing my pictures are backed up on my computer in the event something happens to my...

Maybe it's because I live in Alaska and am accustomed to shooting large animals like moose...but something intrigues me about Eland. I'm looking forward to hunting one this July when I head back to RSA. And those eland steaks on the brai are awesome! Anyone else planning on arrowing a big one...
