I was actually on a hunt on the sticks on a big warthog. We were supposed to be hunting impala on the property. The ph left me there to watch while he slipped back out of hearing to call the landowner to get the ok to shoot the warthog.
I would certainly ask for a pricelist before I went to study on. Some regular pricelists may not include cull animals. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask him before going if culls might be available and about prices. A lot of opportunities might just come available while hunting. If you’re open to these...
South Africa: Game 4 Africa Eastern Cape May 2021
I can’t imagine how we could have had a better week.
My brother and I hunted 7 days 2x1 with Colin.
Pre hunt- We use Gracy and flew Qatar. Qatar service and such was great and very few people on flights. I much prefer the Atlanta to joburg...
Had the pleasure of meeting tundra tiger this evening. In camp together. Hopefully he’s in his chalet soundly sleeping, dreaming of his first day hunting in Africa while I’m here wide awake reading AH threads at 2:30 am.
I’ve used bidair in the past making trip through customs and such a breeze. My understanding is the bidair is not operating right now due to airport covid restrictions. I found another company that says they are, but I’m a little sceptical. If bidair is not allowed, I’m not sure how others get...
Mountain lion when referring to those in most of North America. Puma when referring to those in South America. Panther or cougar when referring to those, or the possibility of those, in my local area.

I don’t have first hand experience hunting with them. Talked with them in Dallas, and they seemed like good people. They have been mentioned a couple of times on AH. I don’t know exactly where, but I only remember reading good things about them.
If you want a low to mid 50’s cape kudu, that’s the kind of thing you need to talk about. That’s a monster cape. Low to mid 40’s might be more likely in most areas.
Booked to be in Namibia mid May. Already made back up plan with outfitter for first week of August. Haven’t rescheduled flights yet. Was waiting til April. Guess I’ll pull the trigger tomorrow.
I don’t have any firsthand experience. But I started looking into them last year. I heard nothing but good. So much so that I booked a trip for this May as well.
My brother hunted in the same generally area a few years back and took a very large hartebeest.
