    2024 Deer Season

Got this one near Libby, MT this morning. The horns have some neat character around the bases. Pretty sure it's the same buck a friend of mine missed 3 times last year while I watched in agony. He was chasing two does around 0815, about 175 yards away, 300 Win Mag 180 grain Partitions...

Was talking about this with some guys earlier. I think Election Day should be a Federal Holiday anyway, most employers are good about giving people time to vote, but this would give people all day. If you're non-political and don't care to vote its a paid day off, if you're a hunter you get a...

    A modernized 416

I've been seeing bigger knobs showing up on newer European rifles, especially ones geared towards driven hunts. Seems like it would make sense on a DG rifle, a shorter bolt throw would be a cool development too.

Don't have any experience with DG rifles. Are oversized bolt knobs something that people run on them?

You mean when you're actively trying to sabotage relief efforts (for reasons) you don't do it in broad daylight, with everyone filming you, in a helicopter clearly belonging to the DOD, with a transponder on, your callsign known, and only hit them with 30 seconds of rotorwash and then leave...

I'm with you on probably not needing it. However it's more of a piece of mind than anything. That time of year it can go either way as far as snow, but I'm also interested in a sturdier tent for wind. I have a super lightweight Big Agnes tent already that I use, but anytime I've used that...

Another thing I like about the Skyscraper is it appears that the walls are a bit more vertical than a lot of other similar ones on the market (someone also made a point of this in a review video I saw). I'm not super tall (6'1") but I can't stand having my head against fabric inside tents.

Any recommendations for a two person/ 4 season tent?

It'll just be me for this trip. I have a lighter Big Agnes that I like a lot, but I wanted something a little more sturdy in case we end up with high winds or snow. Have you had the SG in any weather? I'm leaning toward them because they have good reviews and I get a decent discount.
