True! My .257 STW is a CLOSE second to the .300 Jarrett.

.300 Jarrett is likely my favorite chambering. Really not much distinction between it and the 300 Weatherby, but the two rifles I have chambered in .300 Jarrett are exceptionally accurate. Guys who know a lot more about rifles than I do have explained how the case design is inherently accurate...

Mine is 1043x (.416). I assume they were sequential. Even in different chamberings.

DSB in .416 with a S&B Exos is the ticket. :-).

Odd that none of these pictures are truly representative of actual color, but I did prefer this stock to others. Straight and simple grain.

I think you are correct. The shoulder is indeed wrong for .244 as well. Project just looks too small for .300. Maybe an illusion due to it being so short.

My guess it is one of the David Lloyd .244 H&H magnums. As mentioned above, calipers will tell the tale.

Not for me, but someone will love it. Are you a collector (new) or a collector/hunter? As far as a scoped rifle for hunting, the drop on the stock is excessive. I don’t know anything about the engraver, but honestly, I think I have seen better lions at least from programmed engraving/etching...

Those more skilled than I can quickly reload No. 1s under pressure, but I would be much more comfortable with the 70. With the amount of money you are spending, and the safety of others as well, I would consider a solid 1-6, 1-8 etc.

They bypassed a-fib and proceeded to v-fib. There is some talk about somebody purchasing the company and restructuring.

Going to work out great. Already have it headed his way and it sounds like he is ready to roll on the build. I did break down and had to ship it, which I really don’t like doing, but sounds like it is going to a swell left-handed home.
