This Leopard taken in 2011 weighed 180 lb with 17 1/4 " skull. Vic was on his first African hunt and shot a only a Blesbuck before this one !

Yes very interesting ! The provinces with zero stats eg. Northern Cape , Eastern Cape , Western Cape , Gauteng , and Freestate do not issue any Cites tags ! I also agree that this is a great topic ! The reason why I say the whole experience is the trophy is that people our hunters have become very self-centred and chase the recordbook instead of the animal in the process loosing out on the " HUNT " . Do not get me wrong .... I offer trophy hunting...
