Something Small I picked up for "tipping"

I was surprised in South Africa the “crew” had nicer knives than I did as well as good coats and boots and things. Cash was king but I’m sure they can move gifts to kids or just trade/sell it. We took a dozen of those cabelas multi tools and they were the only thing that got stolen from my...

    Time to clear customs

I agree Meet and Greet. There is something comforting when getting off the plane after that loooong flight and seeing a smiling human holding a sign with your name on it. Follow that guy through the diplomat line while feeling sad for all the people waiting in the cattle chute. Escorts you to...

I don’t know about clothes but would caution you on the weight of your luggage. Make sure you know what is allowed per your airline and that includes ammunition. No need to overpack, taking too much is a common first timer mistake.

    Hunting wild cattle/bovines...

Kevin Robertson wrote a pretty good tale about hunting an old beef cow on his farm with a double rifle. I might be getting facts mixed up but I think that is correct. Friend of mine killed a wood bison in Alaska which was not for the faint of heart. I think tags were hard to acquire If you...

    Eastern Cape April Vs July

Have been happily remembering crazy rainstorms during the night in July and several times dense mist in the morning. The animals would be out in profusion late into the next morning standing in the sun trying to warm and dry themselves. Great memories!
