Ok that good. When do you think the Gibbs will be complete? Also what would you consider in a trade?

Is your reloading press setup for the 505? I know that it will need the 1” thread adaptor. If you are already there or moving in that direction, I’d be happy to send you the dies, 20 pieces of brass and box of Hornady solid non bonded bullets to have ready for your day of glory.

There aren’t a lot of 505 owners out there and I love the cartridges and the history. You could pay me what you think they are worth within the next year if that works. I’m not worried about the funds. Let me know what you think.

Wow Dan! That's a heck of an offer ) I'll say yes to that... but really feel I need to ask you to mull it over and let me know what you're thinking? Jim Wisner sold his last set for $200 IIRC. He's the one remodeling mine. I got it as a .550 Magnum (Gibbs case) from my friend, but without any dies... story for another time

That Krieger bbl is going on another Enfield P14 action that I just got the "duck pond" welded up on. Jim W is working on another run of .505 Gibbs rifles... going to be super trick with a built in popup rear peep sight tucked into the duck pond area of the rear bridge.

I bought an RC Supreme press last year (traded up actually) then made the 1" die adapter on the lathe as I happened to have the right sized piece of Hex stock on hand. I'm a retired engineer with a machine shop I've assembled over the years, so love tinkering. You need anything made in partial trade perhaps?

That’s a solid bolt handle. I like that. Is that the p17 action? What are you going to stock it with? Let me think on what I need, I’m really trying to clean out the safe a little is all.
