Rolex- the stupidest, lamest company

I retired in 2008 always wore a watch my world before then revolved around what time it was ! After a few months was at the second house. Put my Rolex in the medicine cabinet and it sat there for 14 years. Findlay when the house was sold brought it back to the main house and it sets in the safe.
Its nice not having the weight on my wrist....bad enough carring a cell phone when I do.

Was scrolling and ran across this. Do you agree?
Well it hits home for me.

I wear the same G-Shock (Casio) I wore in Afghanistan 15 years ago. I replaced the battery around 2015 because I took the watch apart to clean it out. I then didn't replace it again until a few months ago. It also sat in drawer for two years at one point. Pretty sure if the world ends in a nuclear war there will be some cockroach still wearing it around.

Separately, I love Omega for the connection to the Apollo program (as an engineering nerd) and recently went shopping for a Speedmaster. I got overwhelmed by all the reference numbers, the guy trying to explain all of the differences, and gave up. So that's accurate too.

Also pretty confident this is the least expensive watch posted in this thread. I'll take that with pride.

The only Rolex I’ll ever own, was my great grandmother’s. It has that Nuevo style to it that I like, and for an over 100 year old watch it still keeps fairly accurate time
Gumpy

PS, the broach there was hers as well, one diamond and six pearls, gold setting, but missing the malachite piece
This is beautiful, aged nicely.

Never had a wristwatch in 45 years .....still breathing .......As for Rolex etc .......never understood the allure.

Good morning from Montana.

I'm looking at a post from 2018 where you were looking for a lefty Winchester in .375 H&H Magnum. I'm selling mine. My email is [redacted] in the event that you're still searching for a unicorn.

Best,

Kelly Palmer

Good Evening. I am very interested in you hunt for the spiral slam. March in 2028 would be fine for me

Couple of quick questions:

1) Can we add some additional species on
2) what do you want for a deposit?
3) how do you want me to sign up

I'm on whats app or email
