That .243 is good when the wind picks up. The rifle came with a 15x Unertl but I swapped for a Leupold 15x fine crosshair and dot. I honestly need to spend more time dialing-in some different loads. I've hunted Black Gap WMA a couple times over the years. It's wide open country, for sure...

My Adams&Co .577BPE hammer double has stalking safeties. They only engage the back of the hammers at 1/2 cock not at full cock, which adds an extra step when very close to game. I wish mine engaged at full cock. Ed Z

Hmmmmm…I was the other hunter in the Zingela camp. My opinion of camp life that week is definitely different. I wasn’t expecting the place to myself but I also wasn’t told otherwise. My PH of 27 years operates a good deal with Zingela and finds it to be one of the best bow hunting operations...
