As it stands now, I am planning to go to South Africa this May for my first safari. I will be traveling with a couple of my hunting buddies. We are currently debating whether to dip and pack then do taxidermy at home or get the taxidermy work done in African then ship them back.

I called Diamond D in Wasilla last year to see whether they would make any of these for larger calibers and their answer was no.

Do you know how they shoot? They both are very nice but the VC is a looker for sure. IF you are still not quite sure, pick the one that shoots well/better regulated.

I have never met him but I respect the good Colonel who has served this country so well. I also respect his opinions when it comes to hunting.
