    Starting to freak

I've used Henry's Rifle permits, they have a gate greet service and they walk you right past the immigration line, straight to get your rifle checked out. I agree with many of the post, been 4 times, most outfitters will take credit cards for the balance, some even take a personal check. They...

    New bow hunter

My son Dakota has taken 32 species, including 4 of the big five with Magnus buzzcuts. Been amazed by the performance. He has a few pictures in the gallery.

The Best 180 gr 300 WM bullet for plains game

I'm a big fan of the swift Scrocco bullet, I've taken 10 or so African animals and this bullet did a great job of one shot kills.

    Hard Case for Rifle?

I have a whole collection of those dumb inserts. Like I couldn't tell because they never put things back in any fashion that resembled how I did it. :) I'm going to Argentina in March and will see if I can get an answer and take a few extra locks along with me just in case.

    Hard Case for Rifle?

Thats what I thought but I've had them cut off, bought ones at my destination and had those cut off as well. Absolutely no consistency in their process at all.

    Hard Case for Rifle?

Add another vote for Tuffpak, I too put two rifle in my soft carry cases, which I use after we're in the truck. Plus I've put heavier coats, even binocs in the case with it. I've put TSA approved locks on it and been present for the inspection, and twice got there with the locks missing, once...

My Rage against RAGE Broadheads - With Video evidence

Great thread guys. Not a bow hunter myself but I've following my son around filming his hunts. To date he's taken 27 species with Magnus buzzcut and Magnus Stinger two blades, including 4 of the big 5. In 4 years of hunting we've never lost an animal in fact most dropped in less that 50yds...

Hoping for my once in a lifetime hunt

I'm a personal fan of this site and Barbara Crowns **NOT**PERMITTED**.com. She does a good job of posting complaints as well as the response. But is still some risk, I hunted Africa with an outfitter that booked through a broker, checked references, check hunting report and still got burned. There...

Double Bow Case suggestions for 1st trip to SA

Badlands makes a light weight rolling duffle that has a section in the bottom for a bow, So we've split the load, single bow and some clothes for padding in the hard side bow case and then put the second bow, padded with clothes in the badlands bag. This can push the weight limit, but it's...

    Gun case

I've been to Africa 3 times with a Tuffpak and love it, I pack the rifles, binoc and some of the heavier clothes as extra protection. I also put the rifle in a soft case and put that in the tuffpak and off it goes. So far the airlines have not been able to damage it and it's not as heavy as...
