It is my understanding that diamonds are just like cameras, computers and other goods. You just need to declare them and pay the duty. Not sure how they calculate the duty. Given that "I read on the internet that..." is pretty much worthless in this situation, perhaps a phone call to the US...

Given that you slap the trigger on a shotgun, I am not sure why it would matter. Perhaps it would matter if you were using it for a slug gun or maybe even turkeys. Can you give us a bit more detail as to your concern?

I went to Limpopo during the first week of September. The first two days it was raining and the high temp was around 70! I was glad that I brought my fleece jacket, cargo pants and a stocking cap. The rest of the trip was cool mornings and I wore cargo shorts and light cotton rip-stop shirts...

Sadly, there is little recourse for a hunter when something like this happens. What are you going to do - send everything back? Take a flight across the ocean and try to resolve things in person? Not gonna' happen. Outfitters and the D&P services know this, so as soon as they get your money...

Contemplating a window sticker for the new truck. Around here, everyone has the flock of ducks or the deer rack, so I was thinking about an Africa theme. I found a zebra decal and thought that it would look really nice on the tinted back window, but I was curious if there is anything else out...

Sounds like you have the right attitude. I chased Eland in RSA for several days on a property that was close to 30 square miles enclosed by a game fence that was close to nine feet tall. Fence did not play one bit of a role in the hunt. Could have been free range for that matter, as the Eland...
