    Christmas Present Ideas?

So long as the knife is packed away in a rifle case. Not to raise the alarm bells, but I myself have had too many stolen from my "regular" bags between here any Jo'berg, and have had many clients experience the same, as of late.

SOUTH AFRICA: Has Anyone Hunted With Boschnel Safaris?

Typo I missed in my original post...my toddler daughter was distracting me, so I goofed it. At any rate, I meant to type "I can and do recommend..."

    SOUTH AFRICA: Hunting With Boschnel

Helluva ‘buff, @PHIL B! Is it in your blood yet? Once you experience Africa once, you become infected. The fever dreams are only alleviated by going again. And again. And again.

SOUTH AFRICA: Has Anyone Hunted With Boschnel Safaris?

I know this is a dated post, but I stumbled across BoschNel. First rate outfitter, with even better people. They are honest and have the utmost integrity…from up front pricing with no surprises to doing things the right way, nobody should have any qualms booking with these guys. I can’t echo...

SOUTH AFRICA: Outstanding Safari Experience With BoschNel Safaris

Welcome to the group! I can’t echo that sentiment enough about the BoschNel team! Brendan is an upstanding, honest, and hardworking outfitter/PH. I’ve had the pleasure of hunting with his PH Richter van der Linden on several occasions. Those two wholly embody the term “professional hunter”, in...

AH Dinners for both DSC & SCI 2026

Thank you for putting this together @Rare Breed. Have many balls up in the air at present, but I am going to make an effort to join for dinner. At any rate, thanks again, and looking forward to it!

    Zastava LK M70 375 H&H For Sale

Somebody PLEASE buy this rifle! This is an incredible price on a great CRF Mauser action. Same thing (parts interchangeable) as a Mark X Mauser, Interarms Whitworth, Remington 798, and by-in-large, the venerable Mauser 98.

What new Ruger would you like to see in a limited special run?

I’m also a southpaw, and I LOVE the idea of a 7mm Mauser/.275 Rigby or a 6.5 Swede. Between the two, I’d opt for the 7mm, but either would be SWEET. I know it’s a long shot, but if you could get this worked out, I’d buy a lefty in either of those calibers, but would be open to others as well.

Further concerns on use if a .375 H&H for anything at all...readers be warned

Appreciate it sir. Exactly the features I would like on mine. Thing is, I’m a southpaw, as is my rifle. Been looking at Richard’s Microfit, but just haven’t committed to it yet.

May I ask where you sourced the stock? It’s the only part lacking on my Zastava build. Already been quite the rifle, but I’d like a slimmer piece of timber on her.
