Knife carry - back of belt?

While it may not be a fixed blade, this is a sheath that I designed to hold a 110 Buck folder. It can be worn on one side or in the middle in the back. I don't care for a fixed blade knife on my belt, and this is a great way to have a knife with me if I don't have my pack on me at the time.

What Are Your 2026 Hunt Plans?

No shows for me this winter/spring, wife is running short on PTO due to being elected as president elect of her professional organization for the next couple years and spending her time playing politics at both the state and national level. We will be heading to SA in June, 2nd trip with...

Samsung SmartTag2 - Has anyone tried these?

I have used SmartTags in my luggage and gun cases on domestic flights. It is a nice piece of mind sitting on the plane to see that your gun case is loaded on there are well. I have not used them on international flights yet, that will happen in June of this year going to SA though. I read...

What do you do for a living?

I have worked in Telecom for the past 20yrs, unbelievable amount of changes in that time. My wife decided in her late 20s that she was going back to school to get her nursing degree, she was a CNA and said she was tired of doing all the work while the RNs were basically supervision at the...

    What TV hunting personality?

I have watched their shows and they seen like genuine people. I was just telling my wife the other day that if I had a choice to hunt with somebody it would be them.

Safari Travel Tip - Air Tags

Samsung makes the Smart tag that does the same thing, only reporting when it sees an Android device. I recently bought some and sent one across two states with my son who is an Apple user and was pretty much able to figure out where he was as he traveled. I then made a trip to his house and...

How has Everyone’s Hunting Season at Home been?

The season to kill a bull ends on Oct 31, she has surgery (bone reconstruction and a ruptured tendon) scheduled for Nov 1. Non weight bearing for 8-12 weeks after that so she wanted to wait until season was over just in case. She really toughed it out for this bull, there were a couple days we...

How has Everyone’s Hunting Season at Home been?

While my hunting season is probably a blank this year, my wife did fill her Nebraska elk tag. He is not a giant bull, probably not a trophy to a lot of people, but considering we only had 360 acres to hunt on and she is getting around on an ankle that the doctor wanted her to have surgery on 4...

    Trade 416 Remington Brass For??

I have 35 that appear to be new or maybe once fired then resized and polished 416 Remington Brass that came as an add on in an auction. I would love to trade for something useful to me. I could really use some 300WSM brass or maybe some 375 Ruger Mag. I may be interested in other hunting...

    Trophy Shippers offline?

Well I know I said the last post was my final one, but here is truly the final episode of the saga. As John posted above he did indeed contact me the following Monday, Feb 13th and offered a refund of 1/2 or my storage fees which amounted to $2062.50. I will leave it up to everybody here to...
