Back from Africa. I used R15 loaded to 2350 with 350 grain TSX’s. Shot a large bull Cape buffalo a little and centered the heart. The bullet was just under the skin on the far side.

I have loads worked up for IMR 4350 and R15. Velocity for both is 2350. R15 groups at 1/2” at 100 yards. IMR 4350 groups under an inch at 100 yards. The .375, 350 grain TSX expanded to .753 on a Buffalo, shot at 110 meters. One shot dropped the Buffalo. That was with the IMR 4350. Heading back...
I have a Remington 721 and a Remington 700 custom shop , both in 300 H & H. Still working on loads with the 700. The 721 likes 180 grain Accubonds. What powder do you like for the 200 & 220 grain bullets?

It’s the age old story when people encroach on wildlife, the wildlife suffer. The only way to stop this is to relocate the people or the wildlife. A top predator needs plenty of space.
