Wanted Remington 1100 or 1187 Special Field
Not sure if it fits the bill, but I have a 1980's Remington 11-87 Sporting Clays. It is almost new. Shot very very little. It just sits in the safe. The wood is beautifully marbled. Recoil is negligible. It is a true joy to shoot. It comes with the chokes and the plastic green case...- Toast

My Take on Dangerous Game Scopes
I agree, to each their own and definitely try before you buy. I'm a fan of 1x scopes with both eyes open, while using AR's. I am a fan of open sights for big game.
