I would use which ever shoots best from your rifle. I have tried both and the Barnes shot better from my rifle. They have worked fine on elk and pronghorn.

I used to have a pair of beagles that I hunted a lot. When I moved to TN I didn’t have the access to land to hunt like I did, so I don’t have beagles anymore. I have hunted a couple of times with a friend, and still enjoy it.

I've been working on it as well. I can read it well enough to get the gist of the conversation, but it is harder when someone is speaking it. I have used a few different sources, but the free Afrikaans word of the day is sent to my email. This at least keeps me learning something everyday.

I've never polished the chamber of a rifle but do my turkey shotgun barrels. I use green scotch brite pads wrapped around a bore brush and chucked into a drill. I also use a little lubricant on it.
