Congrats for the amazing hunt. Just came back from Zimbabwe where I bow hunted with Butch. He told me you hunted with him and got a Cape buffalo as well.

Just got back from Zim, I had an amazing time. I managed to get a bushbuck, an eland and a buffalo all on walk and stalk. Hunting story to follow.

I am using a Garmin Xero Pro (rangefinder is integrated on the sight) sight. The furthest distance I get with this arrow weight is 56y. No issue at this distance with the accuracy but I am not planing to take the shot on a buffalo at this distance! I hope I will have a shot opportunity below 30y

No issue with the IW durability? Since this is not a one piece BH, there is alway a risk of failure compared to single piece BH. What was your arrow set up?

With the victory rip tko arrow, I’ve a stainless steel hit insert of 150gr, a 40gr collar and 400gr BH. So it’s 590gr in front.
