Tim Sundles 4 shots of 600 NE into Buff

This video is a great example for new hunters to watch. I feel like with all the podcasts, forums, and hunting shows, people assume there is a "magic formula" or "recipe for success" when it comes to guns and gear. The only real recipe is putting the right bullet in the right place. Just because...

    South African hunt Spring 2026

I'll have to check out the video. I bought the .375 h&h and when my wife asked why I bought it, I said I "needed it for Africa in case there was something dangerous". So i now have to take it to justify purchasing it to my wife lol but yeah, I'm planning to pretty much stick with the .30-06 on...

    South African hunt Spring 2026

I'll be in Vaalwater, I believe. I also have a set of almost to the knee dark brown hunting boots. They look more like the old school safari boots, but they're waterproof and snake proof. I use them I'm the states, and they're already broke in. I'll make sure to bring some electrolyte packets...

    South African hunt Spring 2026

Through an unforseen turn of events, I wrote into a hunting podcast/YouTube channel for advice on hunting Africa and was actually invited to hunt in Africa with the host. I had told him I was a novice to this, but wanted to try living out one of my chief adventures. He has been very kind with...

.375 h&h custom... who made it?

Looks like I'll be bringing this beauty to South Africa with me in March or April of 2026. I'll be hunting plains game in the Limpopo region. Was thinking 250 grain Hornady CX bullets. Advice or thoughts? First time hunting anything but a whitetail any place but Indiana.

.375 h&h custom... who made it?

We have an answer! It's a model 1917 from Winchester! Looks like I'll need to have a screw that was broken off fixed, didn't know I had that. But otherwise, good news. Will probably have that engraved on the barrel so I can keep my scope on while traveling

.375 h&h custom... who made it?

I'll be removing my scope and scope mount, looks like I can see the very bottom line of what may be a serial number on the front scope mount. I'll post as soon as I get a moment to do it to let you all know the answer to the question

.375 h&h custom... who made it?

I'll call customs and ask their advice. I'm a "do it the right way" type more than a "see what i can get away with" type. I want everything legal

.375 h&h custom... who made it?

No serial number or logo ANYWHERE on it. Only the .375 h&h stamp on the barrel
