Ye I know what you mean about counting the ammo, also we drove 8 hours from Tete and went through a few “road blocks”, looking for cool drinks and whatever they could get off ya. No problems though and part of the experience.

I’m not a gunsmith but have had many a gun threaded. I see no issue it doesn’t require that much, “meat”. Soon as I find a decent deal on a model 70 in 375hh for the kiddos that’s the first thing I’ll do as well… A competent gunsmith with proper tooling will have that ready to go in no time…...

What about the weight you loose from a wood stocks… put lead in it? This one is already at the tipping point of “desired” felt recoil lol
