Glad to hear that! I’m probably just being my usual anal self.
I did find a set of 300 flanged dies, so glad for that.
I also bought another 140 375 flanged cases.
FYI, I would anneal first, then run the 375 cases into a 35 neck sizer, a 338 neck sizer and a 325 neck sizer before hitting the 30 cal die.
Might well need to ream the necks after all that!
Ok, I have been told I can form 375 Flanged to 300 Flanged using my 300 Belted die.
Anyone have an informed opinion on that little bit of trivia? I'm surprised to hear this...but surely hope it is true!
"Handloading Automation"
Now there's an oxymoron for you!!!
Not for me. I handload my handloads...to the extent possible.
Minimizing the handloading makes handloading no longer handloading.
Of course, I am a Luddite!
Rant/off
Made a plan today at DSC - going to have Bailey Bradshaw do two barrels for my rising block.
The standing order is for 45-100 and we are going to add something smaller to make for a "do anything" rig.
I'd love the second barrel to be in 300 Flanged Magnum, but am not finding dies or brass...
I absolutely would hunt PG with one of my levers.
I would likely take either a M64 or a M71, peep sight only. If I took the M64 it would probably be the 30-30 and not the 32 Spl, just because of the better bullet choices (I have Partitions, A-Frames and TSX for the 30-30). Hmmmm, Northern...
I’m guessing they haven’t had many complaints because very few of these rifles have been put on a target with irons. Or even shot at all.
I’m surprised they didn’t test fire the set-up at the factory.
You are the maniac flying the experimental plane!
