    Back and Ball??

My thoughts with removing only the choked area of the barrels was to be able to use readily available Federal,Winchester or Remington slugs which supposedly shoot best from a cylinder bore. From what I have read (and there isn’t much info published) is that shortening th barrels may delay...

    Mick’s?

i believe Mick was set up by the police and his guns were confiscated at the time. He only sold antique weapons and after a long and very public court case, I believe he was acquitted of the charges. It took a long time before the police returned his guns. Not sure if the story is accurate...

    Back and Ball??

Over the years I had quite a few rifles and sold quite a few rifles. I have been wanting a 12 bore double slug gun, so i decided to make one. I started off by purchasing a nice Sulh SxS from Simpson Ltd. I sent the barrels to the Shotgun Doctor(?) in Amherst, Mass and had him trim the chokes...

    Anybody in SWFL?

Lucky you! I have been out a few times with Brett and it is more fun than a barrel of monkeys! Are there lots of hogs on your property? My friendd has a cattle ranch that has lots of hogs.He leases the hunting rights, but when the lease owners are nor there, hogs are up for grabs.

    Anybody in SWFL?

SE Florida here. Closest thing to a safari here would be a paid hog hunt near Clewiston.

    How safe are safteys?

I like the way my hammer guns work. Rebounding hanmmers. I always carry them un-cocked. The hammers can’t drop unless the triggers are pulled. I still follow all the safety rules.

    Simson & Co. Questions

It has 2 3/4” chambers, side clips and cross bolt actions. I picked up the Simson today and although it was advertised as nice wood and clean bores, I was pleasantly surprised (actually ecstatic ) at the condition. Case hardening and bluing is close to 100%. Wood is excellent. Action (lock...
