That’s wild, what’s the reason they’re more expensive where they’re made?

I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve read blood Meridian but I can tell you I have two copies of it. When I think I have it figured out there’s always more to unpack. I’ve read about half of McCarthy’s works and haven’t been disappointed yet.

I took a 300 h&h with 200 gr swift a frames to Namibia this year. Performed great. That said if you’re choosing between the two I’d go terminal ascent, I’ve killed a few elk with them in 280 Ackley. One of my favorite bullets. Accubonds being one of my least favorite bullets.

Absolutely, might have to try that my next trip.

I could see solids being more useful in that caliber. I’d definitely use it as a follow up for something like eland or giraffe.

Just thought it was a neat option. Maybe I’ll get some use out of them in some hunting scenario but unlikely. Just wanted to play around with them.
