I was born and raised in Ohio, and it was there that I did most of my hunting. ( White Tails, Ruffed Grouse, pheasant) I have also hunted Black Bear in Ontario, Canada, and feral hogs in Telico, Tennessee. I moved to Florida in 1984 to open my agency’s first full time office in Fort Myers. Here hunting is available only if you know a landowner. There are very few public lands in which to hunt. Do, my focus changed fro hunting to fishing, especially offshore fishing.

Now, in my retirement, as age catches up to me and my body declines, I seek to fulfill dreams I have had since childhood before I am physically unable to do so. An African safari for plains animals tops the list, closely followed by hunting in Alaska and Elk hunting in the Western states. Only two things stand in the way of accomplishing these goals, my body and money. God Willing, a way will be found before it is too late!
