Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris!

I have almost just euros, and while I'm waiting for my African throphies to arrive I can show you some of the ones that I have on the walls by now. Bronze medal moose Silver medal red stag Fallow deer A few roebucks, the biggest one of these scored silver medal.

I hunt moose in Scandinavia only.

I have shot almost a hundred moose, using a lot of different calibres, and my favourite is the 375H&H. 300 grs Nosler Partition at just 2300 fps will do the job. I don't know how many I've shot with this load but I have only recovered two bullets.

Reinheimen is beautiful! Be prepared for a lot of hiking, at times in rough terrain. Patience and scouting with binoculars will always pay off. I’m attaching a couple of photos from there, taken at the end of July last year. I spent several days up there hiking and fishing.

Where in Norway are you hunting? Overall lenght, with, mass, size of the shovel, points on the shovel, points and lenght of the points all counts.

Thanks, we really had a good time! We hired Henry's Howa .308 Win this time to have less things to think about since this was our first trip. The rifle shot very well and we both got friends with it. Hopefully next time I'll bring my 375H&H and she her 338 Win Mag. Photo of the blesbok attaced.

Thanks! Yes, I think we started planning the next trip after the first day in the bush. Hopefully we'll go for a buffalo/kudu combo one day when the bank account allows it.

I'm on the airplane (Qatar) now flying Oslo-Doha-Johannesburg for a PG hunt. No problems at all, everything is going smooth.
