My Win70 was chambered in .338 Win Mag. Standard length, .532 bolt face. I believe it’s a great choice as well. I handload for the Ruger now and am getting great results with 235gr and 270gr Barnes TSX’s.
Mainly because I currently have one in the Ruger 77 Alaskan and have all the components for the .375 Ruger. Less case capacity than the H&H with more velocity in a standard length cartridge.
