Forgive me for not looking back over this thread just yet, but what load do you guys prefer for an all round hunter with the 350RM? Any factory loadings still available, or just handloads? What's the do all choice for deer to moose to griz and everything in between?

I have a NULA scout rifle in 350RM. The NULA's are not the best rifles around, and neither are the scouts, but this rifle is a nice little package that is a joy to shoot and carry. I may convert it to a standard scope mount and therefore make it much more useful, but I have not actually hunted...

How come when I asked for pictures and a price, you couldn't just do what you just did? Would have saved a lot of time and hassle.

It's very rare to see checkering that comes up as high as it does on the Springfield. Very desirable feature. Would love to find out who did it. If you post it on 1911addicts, they might be able to tell.

BTW, are we talking about closed bottom pouches or open? I have both and both work fine. I have been using my open bottom pouches with my 458WM lately, and though it gives Murray conniptions that I do, I don't have a double and wanted to try them out anyway. I understand the rim adds some...
