That’s the exact way I approached my build - obtain the fuel first then buy the vehicle

PacNor made the barrel and attached it/head spaced it to the action. Bruce Farman did the rest of the assembly and bluing plus made the stock from a blank I sent him. He’s a master gunsmith and stocker.

I bought this hoping it would work for a fix-it project but it didn’t fix-it. Used on one cartridge case so blades are still super sharp. Adjustable for cartridge length, used for .416-.500 caliber cases. $75 shipped.

I’m happy to help where I can! Yes the reamer is the issue and Manson was able to supply a throater that they custom made. PacNor might have this short throat problem fixed but I have my doubts - I would make a phone call to check. Let me know if you need brass as I’m having some other brass...

On the rear base -There’s two screws on the opposite side from the lever, fore and aft. One is the adjustment and the other is the keeper. Make sure the base is correctly positioned first (it’s an offset peg), push and hold the bottom half of the rear ring firmly towards the rear of the base...
