Gemsbok and Black Wildebeest, taken on a large 30,000 acre property with no game fences, rare in South Africa!

I used a 30/06 in Africa but my favourites are 25/06 for medium game and 300 winchester magnum for the bigger stuff

Good boots, accurate rifle and a sense of adventure!

My best hunting tip

Walk less and look more. If on a guided hunt listen to your guide, they have the knowledge. Have a good camera cos the hunt is over way too soon!.
