My Sako 85 375 is 3.6kg without scope which is 7.9 lb plus with S&B scope 9.2lbs nots sure about mounts but they are sako QD optilocks

Ok I solved this problem! I bought a Sako 85 Kodiak in 375H&H. I love the Winchester Mod 70 but I didnt want to go with the extra weight of the safari grade version I would have loved another Extreme Weather version if they brought it out in 375 but they dont so I ended up with the Sako. Ill...

Yea I only mentioned the 338 because that's what I have in Mod 70 Extreme Weather stainless steel. Great riffle by the way. But I can see why a 375 would be better.

Thanks for that. Yea I bought that 460 on impulse really I like it just a bit of fun. Been to Africa many times but not for hunting yet. I plan on going on a hunt there some time soon as well as Alaska and possibly Montana as well as NZ that's the plan anyway.

Another vote for the Pelican 1750 ive got two of them and they are the best. Used in the Military as well.
