I want to hunt in RSA, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia.

My favorite African trophies

Impala is number one and my goal is a ram 25" or better! I also am taken with nyala, bushbuck, springbok, kudu, gemsbok, eland, common reedbuck, waterbuck, lechwe, Vaal rhebuck, zebra and buffalo.

My preferred weapon(s)

Winchester Model 70, Remington M700, and a good British double.

Gear I cannot live without

Two things: my Merino wool long underwear and my semi-custom Remington M700 in .260 Rem. It is the most accurate hunting rifle I've ever seen.

My best hunting tip

Get as close as you can and put the bullet where it needs to go the very first time. No amount of "magnum" power can make up for poor shot placement.
