It was with Tsala Safaris, Gaza Province, Mozambique, near the Gonarezhou.

Here are a couple of mine. Niassa Buffalo with Rodda .500 NE. Gaza Province Elephant with VC .500 NE.

My first Ele...I will never forget that hunt!

I hunted there last year. They have some tank sized buffalo. I personally witnessed some 44" and 46" skulls in their skinning shed. It really is a great location across from the Gonarezhou. We were dodging elephants daily while hunting buffalo. It is easy travel with no charters required. Tsala...

I currently own both. The VC is hands down the better rifle.

No one round until collapse, my point is you never know what effect a big powerful bullet can have. Nobody is shooting sedated bulls, let alone Tim Sundles.

I don't see that at all. You have to be pretty jaded to go there. It looks to me like fairly poor shooting, but the large caliber. 600 causing pretty traumatic shock to the buffalo. I once shot a buffalo with a .500 Jeffery that exhibited similar reaction, looking like no effect, until he fell...

As I told you this past week, that second bull is a hell of bull! Congrats on doing your first buffalo hunt your way, up close and personal with a .450 NE double. Great shooting as well! What a special hunt. Kwalata and L9 always deliver incredible opportunities for hunters willing to put in the...

I have spoken to Brandon with Tsala. The Pafuri border crossing is not effected. The area around their camp is Frelimo territory, with no unrest. You will be fine.

I have spoken to many Moz outfitters. They are not concerned it will impact this season. It is concentrated to the cities. The rural areas mostly support Frelimo, no unrest in hunting areas. You will most likely only be flying into Pemba or Maputo and then catch a charter. The airports will be...

I just ordered your book as well. This is a fascinating topic. Your book looks well written. Well done!

That is one of the most tastefully built rifles I have ever seen. Congrats!

My wife and I will be attending. I am looking forward to this year's get together.

Merry Christmas, I will be joining with my lovely wife. I look forward to it!
