I'm not an expert by any means, but I'm wondering if it's not a headspace problem? You might need to find a go/no go gauge.

This. Also, to add from a previously posted article: "Xi’s communications problem may be worse than his strategic one, because there is no good answer. If Beijing endorses the strikes, it loses the “Global South.” If Beijing condemns the strikes, it attaches Chinese prestige to a dead man’s...

Apologies for the outburst, but it was kind of like you said that .243 Winchester was just like a .475 Nitro Express, because, you know, they both have a bolt action, a stock, and a barrel...

Well, one can carry 24 troops inside, and has a max lift capacity of about 7,000#, the other carries 35-55 inside, and it's max lift is about 24,000#, but other than that, yeah. Exactly the same. They are as different as chalk and cheese. Not saying I agree with everything the OP said, just...

I thought this was a very interesting analysis. At least from a Strategic, not Operational point of view. https://www.nationalreview.com/2026/03/why-operation-epic-fury-is-catastrophic-for-xi/

What Alpine Backpack do you prefer?

I guess it depends on if you're talking about a day pack, or a longer trip pack. That said, I really like my Vorn far more than I thought I would. I have the medium sized one, the smaller one may work as a better day pack in the mountains if you're not carrying much. Yes, it holds the rifle...

Actually, and as weird as it sounds, YES, short rounds will be difficult to feed. If you can pull the bullet with an extractor die and re-seat it, you should be OK.

The part I think is funny is my Canadian friends and classmates insist the US should abolish ICE and be more welcoming to illegal immigrants ("no person is illegal"), but when it comes to immigrating to Canada, well, there are LAWS to be enforced....

    Dentler versus Blaser Mounts

That looks like something an Imperial Storm Trooper would use. And the cocking/decocking system on the Jakele is superior. I've seen both. I've played with both. I'll admit a bias... I know some of the guys who work at Jakela.

    Reloading room setups...looking for inspiration

Yes, Skip the flakes, but don't forget the non-skid. Brighter colors are better for finding lost things. Consider lighting. "Machine Shop Level" lumens are good for reloading, but you might want to dial it down for day-to-day tasks.

OK, I'll say it out loud. I'll take the Jakele over the Blaser any day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

    Reloading room setups...looking for inspiration

Just a couple of thoughts, as my "new room" isn't finished yet. I have a separate bench for the press itself and the "other things". The "other things" benchtop is made from a surplus piece of corian. It's hard, flat, easy to level and easy to keep clean. The piece I found is a very stark...
