The photos do not show them all. I have several each in 7x57, 6.5x57, 8x57, 30-06 and 9x57. The reduced intermediate Model S with large banner on the receiver is 7x57. It is one of my favorites and is in "as new" condition. Both of the Model M in the photos are 30-06.

I note that the Heym SR20 9.3x62 is a good half pound lighter than the same rifle in the smaller calibres (I have other SR20s in .308, 6.5x55, .243, etc.) This is not due to differences in walnut density. I have weighed six Heym SR20 stocks, and they all weigh more or less the same. I assume...

I just bought the same rifle in .308. Same shadow line cheekpiece, same two screw steel grip cap, same rosewood forend cap, original front and rear factory sights (no muzzle threads), similar red pad....just not engraved or stamped "Rigby"....in excellent condition. It cost me $850 (US).

I have a half-stock SR20 in 9.3x62 and it is a very handy rifle....the fullstock version seems too heavy and awkward, maybe just unbalanced. That's the way it feels to me anyway.

In Canada, you can get a used VG+ condition HVA 1600, small ring Mauser-98 type action, walnut and blued steel with all-steel bottom metal for around $500. They usually have excellent bores.
