The "face of Africa" gets my vote for "Most unique use of nuts".

The kudu was taken June 2023 on my first ever Africa trip. NKWE Safaris in Botswana was very special. The nyala was the first animal I shot in South Africa, September 2025, while hunting with Bushman's Quiver. This was also a very memorable, enjoyable hunt. It's hard to pick only 2.

I like to do a little woodwork with my European mounts. These are from Botswana 2023. Several more yet to come from SA hunt Sept/Oct 2025.

I have a box of Buffalo Bore 45-70 Magnum, 430 grain factory loads. Does anyong know if they are safe to shoot in a rifle stamped "45-70 Govt"? A friend is giving up big game hunting and asked me to sell some of his ammo. I don't want to steer a buyer wrong.
